When it comes to player illness this season, PMHA members will be required to adhere to BC Hockeys Hygiene & Illness Protocol. Page 5 of the BC Return to Hockey Covid-19 Response plan indicates “ill participants must provide a Doctors note prior to returning to hockey activity.”

PMHA will now utilize Team Snap to assist families with assessing their players health fitness prior to each “event” this season.8 hours prior to each PMHA session, Team Snap will release an online health assessment questionnaire. A player will not be permitted on the ice if they have not completed the Team Snap assessment tool prior to EACH session that clears them to play. 

 

 

If the Team Snap assessment tool indicates a player is not well, they will not be permitted to return to play until a Doctors note clearing their return to play or written confirmation of a negative Covid test result has been provided to the team manager.

Other Covid assessment tools include: calling 8-1-1 OR the online BC Covid-19 Self Assessment Tool.
