Dear PMHA players and families,

We are about to start another hockey season at PMHA.  Due of the current COVID-19 pandemic, this season will begin differently than past seasons.

I want to thank the Panorama staff and many PMHA volunteers who have put in the extra time and effort to ensure that we are able to have access to rinks, and to be able to have kids on the ice.

I strongly encourage everyone stay up to date on COVID-19 information, please continue to visit our website for updates and expectations for players, parents and family members so everyone is able to have a safe hockey season.

Things will look different. New protocols and changes will be put in place, most importantly, avoid congregating in the arena lobby, and dressing room limits will be strictly enforced. Follow the entry and exit rules set up by Panorama for each of the arenas.  Use your common sense about maintaining safe distances, performing proper hand hygiene and wearing a non-medical mask when you are unable to maintain 2 metres from others. If you are at all unwell, please stay home.

We need the support of everyone at PMHA to make this work. We realize this is going to look very different, and it will be challenging.  However, the other option currently is no hockey at all for anyone.  As that isn’t what we want, and I know that together, we can make a memorable season for the 350 plus kids in Peninsula Hockey.
