Peninsula McDonald’s Restaurants, the Peninsula Panthers Jr. Hockey Club, and the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association, have partnered to present another exciting Player of the Week Program (POTW) for the 2019/20 hockey season. Players in Novice, Atom and PeeWee who have not participated before, are invited to submit their names into a random draw for Player of the Week at the Friday night Peninsula Panther home games.

Benefits to Player:

Player of the Week will be part of the team including:

  • invited into the player dressing room pre-game.
  • participate in on-ice game warm up wearing a jersey very similar to the Peninsula Panthers team jersey.
  • sit on the bench during the first period.

The player of the week will also receive:

  • McDonald’s Player of the Week engraved plaque provided by MVP Crest and Trophy.
  • McDonald’s Player of the Week commemorative T-shirt.
  • McDonald’s Player of the Week ‘grab bag’ from McDonald’s.
  • Photo feature in the Peninsula News Review – Wednesday edition prior to the game.

Benefits to Team

  • Opportunity for team building night at the Peninsula Panthers’ Game.
  • Team will be announced during the game.
  • Tickets will be provided to the team at $3.00 (players) & $6.00 (parents).
  • Opportunity for team dinner at McDonald’s prior to the Game.
